My name is Derrick S. Roberts (DSR) At the age of ten, I discovered the world of motorcycle racing from my uncle Mike. At the time, he was road racing his Honda NSR 250. From that time on, I had a passion for race bikes.

Every weekend I would ask my mom to take me to his house so I could help work on the bikes before his race. (mainly just washing parts and handing him tools.)

No matter, a passion was born. I began riding motorbikes myself not long after at 11.

I would always draw my uncle picture of racers he and I liked, Wayne Rainy, Kevin Schwantz and Kenny Roberts. (see whats happening?)

My love of the sport has grown even more over the last 20 years. My paintings of these incredible machines show my passion for 2 wheel speed. I live for it. They also show the way I see the fast pace of everyday life.

I paint subjects that I have passion for. Music, film and of course motorcycle racing.

All of my work is done by what I am feeling at that moment, what my heart and mind tell me to. Every piece I create is from the heart. Its as honest and real as it can get!
